We can handle this business either as part of a Homeowners Policy or as a stand alone coverage. The case of stand alone either send us a completed, signed and dated Lloyd's Proposal Form together with a schedule or e-mail the answers to questions 1] to 11] as set out in the enclosed page. This should be sufficient information for Underwriters' consideration.
In the event of a firm order, the original, fully completed Lloyd's Proposal Form, dated and signed by the Assured, will be required by Underwriters together with a complete Schedule and up to date appraisals. Underwriters will normally allow a temporary period of cover in which to obtain these documents.
FINE ARTS - PRIVATE COLLECTIONS
Lloyd's is an excellent market and our response time is usually 24 hours.
The most common private collectors wording and application forms are Hiscox Forms.
However, on smaller risks or where marketing dictates, the following forms may apply -
TAW / R(a) and application.
We would suggest submitting the initial enquiry by e-mail as above and we will then advise which Proposal Form is required and the relevant Wording when indicating terms. Coverage is usually restricted to a named location or locations but if a more flexible approach is required, please submit your requirements and we will endeavour to obtain terms. Specific transits of items can be arranged on a case by case basis.
In the event of a firm order a completed Proposal will be required together with a Schedule of Insured Items and their values with substantiating up to date appraisals. A temporary period of cover will normally be allowed by Underwriters in which to obtain these documents.

Although we do not have a specific facility for this class we can access a wide range of markets within Lloyd's and in most cases will be able to respond to your enquiries within 24 hours. An application and sample wording are included.
